OLIVIUM RESTRAUNT
Perched high above the Cairo Nile, Olivium Restaurant was conceived as a destination dining experience where architecture, atmosphere, and gastronomy merge seamlessly. Designed by Horizons: Architects & Engineers, Olivium isn’t just a restaurant it’s an invitation to dine above one of the world’s most storied rivers, with the city skyline unfolding in every direction.
By day, Olivium embraces minimalist sophistication. Natural daylight floods the interiors, reflecting softly off clean, understated surfaces, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the panoramic Nile view. Sharp architectural lines meet soft curves, creating a balance between precision and flow that echoes the movement of the river below.
By night, the atmosphere transforms. Warm ambient lighting bounces off the water’s surface, creating a playful dance of reflections that turns the restaurant into a glittering jewel above Cairo. The distinctive roof feature, visible from the riverbanks, serves as both a skyline icon and an architectural signature.
Design Highlights:
- Panoramic Nile views from every seating angle
- Sharp and curved forms for a dynamic spatial experience
- A landmark roof structure visible from the city
- Minimalist material palette for daylight elegance
- Custom lighting design for dramatic nighttime ambiance
For Egypt’s rapidly growing hospitality and F&B sector, Olivium sets a benchmark in how design can elevate dining into an experience. It’s a project that speaks to hotel brands, luxury hospitality operators, and high-end restaurateurs in Egypt, the Gulf, and beyond proving that when architecture aligns with vision, the result is a venue guests will never forget.
